Dear Members of North Metro Medical Group Management,
After much consideration, we regretfully inform you our organization will be dissolved at the end of December 2018. This decision came with much difficulty as we have tried so hard to keep it going. I'm sure it has been apparent that our membership has gone down and attendance for the meetings has been low. With the acquisition of so many practices by hospitals, we have lost members and it has been difficult to recruit new members the past few years.
We, the Board Members, have truly appreciated your participation over the past seven and a half years. I feel I can speak for all of us when I say how much we have enjoyed getting to know you, having each other to turn to for advice and guidance with particular issues, enjoying the inside jokes only managers could understand and the unlimited networking we have been able to have. Our mission when we started this organization was to bring us together for education and camaraderie to help us in our position of management. I feel over the years we have been able to bring excellent speakers and educational sources to go back and share with our staff to facilitate a smoother running practice.
I will say this is a very sad day for us. I would like to encourage you to continue to stay informed of all the changes in the medical industry and, perhaps, you are close enough to join another local chapter and attend their meetings.
I have enjoyed serving you as a founding Board Member, Treasurer and President of this organization. The Board, consisting of Robin Beatty (founding Board Member and Secretary), Karlene Dittrich (founding Board Member, VP and Past President), Pam Vanderbilt (Treasurer), Yvonne Dwyer (Vendor Liason) and our Executive Director, Doug Vanderbilt wish you all the very best.
Mitzi Edge, President
